Selected aircraft has no textures (black)

Hi. I've had this problem before and used to solve it by borrowing another Texture.cfg file from another aircraft to replace the one in my texture folder.

Not working now.

Any ideas please

Using the textures of another aircraft will not solve the problem. Have you tried to re-install this addon?

Which aircraft addon is it? Which simulator? Is it just one repaint that appears black?

I had one version of the Ilyushin Il-62m, which had several textures which worked well. Texture folders do not have texture.cfg file.

I now have a much better Il-62m, which has just one white texture.

I tried using the textures from the old version in the new one, and this is when tho problem surfaced.

I think the IL-62s have two different models: Are they from different developers? 

For example a Sky Simulations MD-11 repaint will not work on a PMDG MD-11 and vice versa..

Yes, using textures from another model will most likely not work. But you may try to find compatible repaints for this particular IL-62. It seems not very likely that the developer made just a white texture set.

You're right.

Managed to find the correct texture for it now.

The Aircraft is the Il-62m from Aeroproyecto.(available from Flightsim.ru)

Originally made for FS9, but has been "adapted" for FSX.

Hard work getting to grips with it but well worth it.
