Just a quick  question, got  a  Samsung LU28590DS   monitor   but  iam  unable  to  change  it   to  60  hz  in  the Display adaptor properties for  display 1.  All  the option  i have  are  30  and  below. The  display  resolution  i  got  is  set  to 3840 by 2160.  The  question  is  that  is  it  set  automatically  to  60  hz  since  i have  read  if   you  set  it  to 3840 by 2160  it  does.   Even in my  nivida control panel  there  is  no option  to  change  it  to  60  only  30  and  below.  I  got  the  connection  to HMDI   to my pc  and  monitor.

Hello Peter
Got the same monitor working at 3840x2160 with an RTX2070S. 133.3kHz 60Hz. Using the display port.

But mine is the other way:  I only have an option for 60Hz, no 30Hz for me.

I got another monitor (same specs) in my office, but connected by HDMI; I'll check that one tomorrow.

In your monitor settings, when using an HDMI connection, change the setting from "HDMI 1.4" to "HDMI 2.0". This will give you your 60Hz. I had the same issue with my Dell 4K monitor.

thx  for  your  reply  but  i  cant  see  that in  my  monitor options at  all,  the  only  options  i see   is  the  display  port option of  1.1  or  1.2  where  1.2  supports   hbr 2.0  which  didnt get  me  the  60
