Concorde coming to MSFS

There is only one photograph of Concorde flying close to Mach 2. This was taken in 1985 over the Irish Sea from an RAF Tornado. Everything had been stripped out of it but despite that he could only keep up with Concorde for a few minutes because of the enormous fuel burn.

The Tornado pilot was in a pressure suit and a helmet. Concorde passengers were in normal clothes drinking champagne and dining on the finest food.

Nowadays we have bland boring but fuel efficient aircraft. Which would you rather fly? 😉

I say, "word not allowed X rebellion" give me a flight in the Concorde any time.

X rebellion haven't got a clue. Perhaps if they looked at how many sporting events for entertainment... for ..fun... involving internal combustion take place all across the globe throughout a year...? .. and then go and protest to China...

Yup, they remind me of all the people you used to see selling 'socialist worker' who'd never done a day's work in their entire life. 🤣

I really do hope this is a good plane, and not very expensive. It'll be my first payware if it is.

Is supersonic flight possible in MSFS? Last I heard it was on the to-do list.

In any case I’m afraid that will not be a serious offering but should satisfy the casual pilot. Talk of PBR but nothing about the flight model or even a few shots of the virtual cockpit.

I’m patiently waiting for the FS Labs one for a different simulator.

The Concorde needs system depth more than a sim with good scenery graphics.

Not only would I look  forward to the Concorde in MFS, but also a B-58 Hustler and SR-71. Enough of the Airbus and Boeing airliners.

Sadly human life is too short, but I am sure the kids of my kids will enjoy flying it

It’s hard to disagree with you.

I’ve been aware for some time there are hacks such as that one to make supersonic flight possible but I can’t imagine in my wildest dreams any serious developer would go anywhere near them. It’s still some way off it would appear.

But only if you could actually bomb and shoot! (Virtually of course).
