September 6, 20205 yr When I use the MSI afterburner tools to check my fps, cpu and gpu %, it makes it impossible to move around in the sim. Eventually it crashes. September 6, 20205 yr No issues with Afterburner and GTX 1070Ti, unless you overclock with Afterburner too much.
September 6, 20205 yr No issues for me too, but i dont OC, i use it just for the onscreendisplay while flying (ie. GPU workload & temp, CPU workloud & temps, fps ect.)

September 7, 20205 yr Commercial Member MSI overclock makes my sim FPS drop to about 5 FPS after few minutes. So I leave it off Gaming Laptop:MSI GS75 Stealth 5.6GHz Intel Core i9 - 10th gen 16 core CPU - 32 GB DDR4 SDRAM - 1TB SSD - RTX 2080 Super - 1920x1080 - 3 fans and cooling pipes.
September 7, 20205 yr Stopped using X1 altogether. MS advises against using any OC software on the CTD troubleshooting page. They mention afterburner by name even. YMMV. SAR Pilot. Flight Sim'ing since the beginning.
