tipping to the left

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone hope all of you are safe and sound,

recently i have been drifting from fsx and started to explore x-plane 11 and i have been using the trial version bc im still thinking of switching from fsx to x plane, but i still use fsx because i have such a great bond with it.

however when i haven't used fsx in months or for a long hiatus, and im loading my flight and loaded into the map and im going full thrust down the runway, my plane goes or veers to the left. I have had this problem before when i didnt use fsx for two years.

any ideas? tips?

As Kaan mentions above.

Perhaps you have forgotten about P-factor and torque reaction? I presume you are referring to propeller powered aircraft, especially single-engined ones?

Sounds to me like you need to use some right rudder to compensate for prop torque.

Autopilot on? It’s happened to me a few times - it’s why it’s on the checklist!!
