Remove instruments in external view?..

Recommended Posts

Is this possible?

They take a second to load when I switch to external view, so I wonder if there is a way to turn them off?

Or do I have to use the drone view? (which I don't want to do really).

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Options - General - Camera

Head down to the Chase Camera section and I believe what you are looking for is the Instrument Heads-Up Display (HUD) to be toggled OFF

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

That's it.  Thanks!  👍

It's a shame you can't assign a key to toggle it on and off in view.

I have looked, but I can't find it under control assignments, so don't think there is a way to do it that way. 🙁

Yeah..I want that. I also want to remove the Blue thingi indicating POIs. Is there a way to turn off where the airport are and other points of Interest like an arcade game. I want that completely gone.

I even want that small triangular thingi fading in and out.. you know the place you click to bring up some menu options. I want that thingi gone completely. unless I move my cursor there. Once I know thats where I click to get the menu, it loses its value..then it become an annoyance.

I can't take this sim seriously with all those noise,.

The menu arrow at the top cannot be turned off yet, but I am with you on that one - I find it annoying and distracting.  I hope Asobo make it an option soon, as we all know to just move the arrow to the top of the screen to get to the menus now.

As for the markers, they can be turned off in Options > Assistance > Navigation Aids. 👍

I have everything like that turned off.

The graphics in this flight sim are so good, I just want an uncluttered screen!  🙄
