The freeware A320neo is getting better and better!

Featured Replies

Oh well, just tested the latest (not "stable") release, and it has even more problems. Plane doesn't descend correctly in managed mode, cruise speed isn't held when not in CL mode, ILS completely broken... list goes on. I am beginning to be fed up with these mods, for each nice to have feature they add, they break ESSENTIAL plane functions. Reminds me of the Zibo, not a single flight without a malfunction during the first year. If it goes down the Zibo way, next thing we get with this mod is abysmal FPS performance.

I think it's best for now just to stay with the "corrected thrust mod" (as the A320 is overpowered in MSFS, I believe that's intentional to make it more agile), and wait for Asobo to work on the bus. As of now, this mod is heading nowhere.

I have been using the last released version and its fine for me. I only use LNAV and not VNAV or managed settings since I want to control the plane and its great. Much better than the default

Have anyone ever mention to you that you are very negative person? LOL Take it easy! This project is few weeks old and you expect "study level" bugs free at once without paying a penny? Seriously?

But but they never touched anything related to the Autopilot and the FCU as far as I saw in github PR, or maybe I am wrong? No idea

Me nether, I mean just now I have flown from EDDL to EKCH from the latest master branch and the autopilot is almost the same annoying one from Asobo but they have added more nice features to the Ecam page

Its comments like these making me wonder if there is only positive critics allowed these days. He has just stated his opinion and his experience with that mod. Didn't say anything about Study Level or his expectations being bug free. Its the same on every forum. If you don't honeyroast things you're a negative person.

Whats the purpose of this when you're allowed to state your honest opinion?

Additional to that if i were a Dev or a modder, i'd be very interested in negative feedback if there are any issues....

If you want to be constructive there is tab call "issues". Post and explain a problems over there. Make sure you can back it up with real knowledge of aircraft system or behavior . Developer are trying improve something, instead of trashing their effort I suggest to do something useful like become a "moder", provide necessary technical detail and information,  and etc.

Sorry, i haven't got the time for becoming a modder and actually i have never been trashing anything. Don't know where you got that from.

It was not addressed to your personally, but about your writing referring to "allowing positive critics" . There are only constructive critique, praising, or trashing nowdays

I can tell you right now I will stick with the latest current build going forward as I am pretty content with it. The reduced thrust, lower fuel burn correctness, and landing light not shining through my flightdeck when the gear is down is enough to keep me satisfied until we get an Aerosoft/FSLabs equivalent. I would need them to fix the MCDU or autopilot to behave more realistically before I download again.

Sometimes... but so did the default. I think I have more TOD arrows popping up in the ND than I did before installing the mod, but that could just be my perception.

And you are likely the guy who is building any word not allowed on the internet trying to sell it for money. Consider X-Plane, so many great mods, Ortho4XP, night mod, Reshade, everything for free. The people that build mods like this A320 share their passion.

It has nothing to do with getting paid, you turn this place into a Teletubbies space, where everyone is happy.
