Does anyone else feel that the A320 (and most other planes) are WAY too sensitive when flying by hand?  I am used to the FSlabs (not comparing negatively or positively) and find that MSFS version is a lot more difficult to fly by hand.  And this is a MSFS thing, but I think they need to change the way you can toggle, push/pull tabs. I find it hard to go between selected and managed mode and when I scroll through a dial, I almost always end up zooming in and out instead.

Just adjust sensitivity and make it a sluggish as you feel is right.

Just to add

Bringing them out of CL will only limit the upper thrust available to the ATHR.

The proper way of taking over manual thrust control from ATHR is to bring the levers out of CL and match the TLA "donuts" with thrust indicators, then push the disconnect button.

Just dont take this like I side with Colonel X...

Lol no I'm thinking that at all.

Thanks for clarifying that though. After I wrote it I was hoping someone less experienced would t take it as gospel.

You're absolutely right though. I was trying to keep it super simple for the sake of arguement.

in the case of the poster to whom we are referring, he’s criticized a mod team for functions of the airplane that they have not modded, and has demonstrated a lack of understanding on how the rw airplane works.  (Doesn’t maintain unless in CL? Yeah that’s an Airbus).  Also, he wasn’t specific about what issues he’s having with the descent, which makes criticism worthless.  (Although it’s possible, given the CL complaint, that he wants the airplane to descend automatically at TOD). All of this ignores that fact that this behavior is default, I do not believe that the mod team even touched the AP or FMC at all yet.

i have zero issues with correctly done constructive criticism, or even angry ranting, but the same rules apply to the critique as it does to the subject.

Not to mention testing out a "latest (not 'stable') build," and then declaring the whole project should be junked because it isn't behaving in a stable manner.  🙄
