If I install the popular 'megapack' of over 400 new liveries, what will it look like in FS main window where you are setting up a flight. When you click the window to choose a plane, will the choices be organized and easy to navigate? Or will you see hundreds of planes to scroll through all lined up in a never ending line?

The newest version of the Megapack is a drag and drop version, meaning each livery is its own folder so you're not forced to download all of them. There's a link to the files in the video description.

I would like to have all the liveries as long as they are organized in FS in a reasonable manner. I don't want the blue scroll bar to be overloaded with 400 planes in a single row instead of in some sort of hierarchy. Right now there is only 30 planes, so the scroll bar is easy to use for to pick a ride.

Well right now Liveries display the same way planes do, just under the liveries menu. It will only show the liveries for your selected aircraft.

I guess Asobo didn't think people would install a ton of liveries. If there's enough feedback I'm sure they will change the UI.

The notes for the next patch says there are UI updates, doesn't what for.

Doesn't read this Megapack. At least it didn't on my system.

Would be nice if there were a utility that would show the thumbnail of the livery while selecting.

Yah Vic it works but tricky to figure out not sure how I got it to work - even if yo do get it to work most have graphic word - creator needed to add a thumbnail of the actual aircraft

Also this is not drag and drop and I dont want it messing with my cfg files all set with that

Do the googledrive version and sort thru it your self not hard these are drag and drop

Also to get previews theres a tab far right on that gui - that may be how I got it to work and doesnt remember settings you have to do it every time you open program - no thanks

Dig into the googldrive versions of the aircraft's texture folder if lucky you will see a proper thumbnail otherwise you will see graphic logo of the livery

I used it Sunday for A320, and it worked for me. Make sure the path is correct.  I had to create an empty directory where it  put selected by my liveries and then manually copy them to //community folder

Well ideally it would be nice to have settings to save path. But also it's possible to create two simple folders C:\\input and C:\\output.. Put liveries in first and take selected liveries from the second.

I saved out one it does not create a json drag and drop format - I dont trust anything thats not official thats not drag and drop format 

I created two new folders. One contained the extracted liveries and the other was empty. Ran program, pointed it to the folder with the files and it did not read them. Nothing was listed.It appears in any case that I will still have to drill down through each zip to see the thumbnail. Not anything I want to do with 384 files.

Hi Vic,

Today I tried it and it works perfectly. Not only do you see the livery images, but after it creates the folder, only the liveries you chose to install, show up in MSFS 2020.

It's really easy. I downloaded the liveries and manager into downloads folder. I extracted liveries folder into downloads folder. Deleted Zip.

Started manager and selected liveries folder as INPUT. It also wants you to select another folder. I created a folder called 747 in the downloads folder as the OUTPUT and chose that folder.

I started the preview and you can see all the liveries by type ( such as 747) I selected only the liveries I liked. Then hit "create custom pack" and it created a folder inside the 747 folder. I then copied the folder created to my community folder. Only the 747 liveries I chose to install show up in FS 2020.

I did one plane at a time, but I don't see any reason why you can do them all in one shot. Then copy all the created folders to community folder.
