I've tried USA west and east servers...no change. There's issues with the live weather right now, in particular in North America. I think at least some of this is fixed in the patch coming this week.
September 16, 20205 yr Winds at all elevations have always been wrong for me. Love how realistic the mist, low clouds look now. Final at KTRI. Edited September 16, 20205 yr by desbean

Has anyone checked ground speed against TAS over time during a flight to see if actual winds in the environment are more representative than what is indicated by the avionics? I have, and when the winds are showing 225/03 the aircraft ground speed always equals true airspeed, so no direct effect on the aircraft is evident, even when the wind appears to be be affecting the environment (waves, cloud movement etc.) It is as if the aircraft is surrounded by bubble of dead calm air. September 16, 20205 yr Well we all know this is broken, as Asobo have recognised it and say it will be at least 'significantly improved' in the next patch, due in just a few days now. 👍 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). September 16, 20205 yr This feels relevant to this discussion: https://fselite.net/news/rex-announces-weather-force-2020-for-microsoft-flight-simulator/ REX are to release "Weather Force 2020" for MSFS. I find this worrying. I'm happy to pay for high quality add-on aircraft, airport sceneries and a GSX-type add-on for MSFS, I'd even shell out a considerable sum for a decent offline ATC add-on. But a weather add-on? I had really hoped those days were behind us. Let us hope that Asobo/MS/Meteoblue get their act together. Accurate weather simulation should really be a cornerstone of a modern flight simulator out of the box. filbertflies.com | YouTube | Twitchi7 13700k, GeForce RTX 3080Ti, 32GB RAM
