Hi

Anyone using P2ATC with FSUIPC and WideFS (on networked computer) and MSFS at all?

Would like some feedback & info' setting up before purchasing if possible please?

Cheers 🙂

Its the only way i have ever used it.  Pretty seamless too, install FSUIPC on Sim, then Wideclient (which will find server itself).   Startup sim, and launch Pilot2ATC.   Its reliable.

Thank you @DocPadds however, I have waiting for connection on WideClient.

FW (on both) disabled and both running W10 in the same Workgroup - I even edited the .ini to include the 'server' IP

FSUIPC7 and WideClient 7.159

Maybe I am missing something?

Thanks once again, I purchased WideFS7 a few years ago and have a key however, FSUIPC never prompted me to register (its v7) Can I add my WideFS key to the FSUIPC7 ini, eg WIDEFS=xxxxxxxxxx

Here is the excerpt from the instructions, just copy and paste the relevant things in exactly as they should be to the key file:

(Also remember when you download latest FSUIPC as they do newer versions to NOT overwrite this tile for now or you have to re-enter this key)

Using WideFS
If you have a license for WideFS7 that you would also like to use, you can do this by
adding the following lines to the included FSUIPC7.key file:

NameForWideFS=<your WideFS registration name>
WideFSaddress=<your WideFS registration email/address>
WideFS=<your 12 character WideFS key>

You will need to restart FSUIPC7 for the license to take effect.

Thank you @DocPadds

That was my issue I now have a WideFS tab in the FSUIPC client and all connected. How did I miss that (guess I was more interested in the WideFS documentation!)

Thanks again for all the help.

I also setup a button on my yoke to trigger the F10 key on the remote PC as a PTT button, if you need help with that let me know.
