tool tips?

Maybe not the right choice of words.Not so much the tool tips, I have them turned off. I'm talking about when you hover the mouse over a switch for instance altitude, it spells out which way to turn it and what it is. I dont want anything to show on the screen when i hover over it

it does not matter how simple or big the effort is, they just have to work through it one by one, this is maybe bug #428
