Thanks for the sample video. A quick question, do you now get the option to record with the HEVC codec even in an SDR game? I have an older card so I wouldn't have that option.

Not sure to be honest since this is so new.

Man I need to do some maintenance on my cooling loop and while my system was near the living room I thought about hooking it up to my LG CX to see how it looks, must resist, can't afford a 4K HDR monitor or the card to effectively drive 4K right now (at the graphics settings I'd want to use)

My system is middle-of-the-road, at at best, an old i7-4790 with a 2070 Super. What shocked me the most was how much smoother MFS ran after switching to HDR. Without changing any settings in the sim but rather changing Win10 to HDR, adjusting my color settings in NCP and making the appropriate adjustments on my TV, it transformed my sim.

Obviously, I'm not running all the sliders on Ultra so I've had to make some compromises but just know that my system is running a 43" Samsung 7100 Series in 4K and HDR and it looks awesome, just not with all of the detail and smoothness you see in styckx's video.

I stopped using the MSFS 2020 game optimization and reverted back to my settings. The driver settings didn't seem to match my hardware and caused poor performance.

Back to topic, does anyone know if any driver issues have been reported with MSFL or is it safe to update the driver?

I think it's safe, but it can't hurt to wait a few days. I don't think anything changes for MSFS, otherwise we'd know by now.
