I've always felt that screenshots help...and why I'll occasionally include one or two to make my point.  Out of the box...NEVER has their been a sim that looks like this:

Where is that location in your screenshot!  You must divulge this, in the name of the cult!

Easy...in a quiet valley in Yosemite.

Was testing the scenery a modder made and giving him some feedback.  Despite any naysayers, love the effort these fellow simmers are taking to make the sim even better.

from the right distance...the falls look pretty good. (but need work that he's well aware of)

Glad i did, no issues at all apart from the 1Engine shutdown bug on the a320, (Easily bypassed until a fix is found by keeping the Apu on)

I hope they can get Niagara Falls to look this good! They are in rough shape the last time I flew over!

Yeah...if ever there was a niche' market for 3rd party devs...it would be tidying up the places MS/AS has not (yet?)   I don't imagine they will spend much time doing that, as we've seen what folks are doing freeware...and I can't think of a better project than the 'falls to start with (well...I can think of a lot of projects, hehe).

I know they are doing some work though...Catalina Island (the port) was horrid on release...after the patch...better (obviously still needs work....)

You do realise that if you respect the right for someone to have an opinion, then you should also respect the right for people to have the opposite opinion too, don't you?

I don’t believe I said that.

Suggesting that it is somehow 'shocking' to express a contrary opinion, when moments earlier you were espousing that people have a right to their opinion and that it should be respected, appears to be demonstrate that you do not practice what you preach. Ironically, this would seem to be an example of the intolerance you are claiming is shocking to you.

What I referred to as “shocking” are the sarcastic and demeaning comments directed at the OP in response to the OP’s comment because they dared to go against the group think.

Nothing to do with whether a comment is for or against the sim.

In fact, your comment regarding failing to “practice what you preach” is offensive.

Unfortunately I find it ironic - a comment made regarding the right to make a comment is jumped on by that very same crowd.

Thanks to the few people who agreed with the point I was trying to make, but many clearly missed.

OK, this one has run it's course and back...at least a dozen times already.  Time to move along.
