Control Parking Brake with the mouse?

Recommended Posts

Sounds interesting to me, but far for being realistic. I don't exactly know what that means. I have my parking brake assigned to a key combination (keyboard "Ctrl + ."). Would this work with PB Express, or not?.

Hi Ed,

It means the user in that case had to physically press the parking brake handle in the virtual cockpit using his mouse instead of using a joystick assignment he created.

I haven't tried reproducing it, but it may be bug in FS2020 with the way it handles joystick button assignments.

Are you using FS2020 or P3D/FSX?

Ok. That makes more sense. The issues with the keyboards or joystick buttons are related to MSFS only, or it's also an issue with P3D?.

Thanks, Ed

Hey Ed,

The parking brake in this version (1.0) is being read by an event that send the sim itself, we noticed that this is sent only by the keyboard and when you press it with the mouse. With keyboard should work fine, during our tests we used keyboard, so no problems. The issue with it is if it's being triggered from a joystick. We will be fixing that

Thanks Manuel. That issue is just MSFS related, or it's the same case with P3D?.

I just tried it in the PMDG 737 in P3D V5.

When I used CTRL + . instead of my my mouse to position the parking brake, Pushback Express had no problems detecting it.

So I think that's just some weird issue with FS2020.

Cheers,
