I just found this fun little article and it's like something out of MFS but in real life - lots of GA's hanging out at Australias busiest airport. Talk about making the most out of this opportunity

Reminds me of the days (a while ago I must add 😂) when I did my command instrument rating out of YSBK. On almost on every return to base my instructor would ask for an ILS approach and touch and go at YSSY (whichever rwy wasn't active), and we were rarely denied it. This was obviously before the scourge of mass air travel made it impossible.

Your still up for about $7 Aussie a tonne for landing charges so if your doing it for kicks and giggles do not take your mates King Air.
