I think with all the money they're investing in games MSFS will be safe for the next couple of years

Why would they? I trust the new MS to do the right thing, and I say this being a huge fan of the series since the first installment (ARENA).

When we remember Fallout76 launch and watch the way Phil Spencer botches the MSF project we definitely see kindred spirits at work here.
