Oddly the marketplace was $2 Australian cheaper, presumably some weirdness in exchange rates  or maybe something to do with paypal.

Regardless, I went with direct download even at $2 dearer as it seemed a better option.

Or possibly it charges EU VAT tax even to non Europeans who aren't required to pay it.  Fortunately there are multiple venues in which to purchase fsdt stuff, so I will spare Umberto the rage I directed to another European vendor of musical production software whose store does the same thing (with much more expensive products, and with no alternative purchasing option)

OK I bought it, mainly because I was born in Key West.  After that we moved to Hawaii haha.  Anyways top rate nice to see moving people.  Walked all around the airport top notch.

I bought it and from someone thats never been from the UK, I thought it looks great. Bought KMIA to pair with it. That also looks stunning and FPS friendly for a huge airport.

This is the first purchase through the marketplace for me, and I have no idea what it is doing. Every time I click "BUY & DOWNLOAD", it appears to open a modal window that closes quickly. After that, I get a message in the message center at the top right stating that the purchase failed. This all happens in about 10 seconds.

I really do want to do most of my purchases through the marketplace to keep things tidy, but it sure isn't making things easy for me.

Just flew from LVFR Miami to FSDT Key West, and the price of admission to these visual treats was very fair. I enjoyed the flight, even more so because of the superb company (@Steve Dra flew along). The airports and environs were very representative of what I remember from days gone by, and the entire experience was closer to being in a cockpit than anything else I’ve flown on a desk. 

There’s a lot for Asobo to do yet, but they’ve made a good start. As usual, FSDT has not let us down- BZ! Next stop Chicago- which is also a treat!

I was able to purchase it though Simmarket, and it looks very nice. I also tried buying PDX thorough the MS Store, but that didn't work either,

Areas like these really don't look that great due to no water masking. FSDT did a fine job, however.

Thanks for this. For consistency. I like the idea of purchasing everything from the MS Store, but it doesn't sound like that is the best method due to encryption. I can't imagine what that will lock down, and I can easily see it be a major issue somewhere down the line.

I went with the non-store option simply because it offered auto updating. The store option would have been cheaper by two bucks though which is a bit odd.

I grabbed this direct from them and it was way easier to download and set up than the miami airport i grabbed from the marketplace. (At least a dozen download restarts vs instant).

Being able to go into the control tower, and having moving people creates a whole new level of atmosphere, but knowing they're also doing a couple of nearby islands shows how much they truly care about their final product. 

I love it.
