Fuzzy Runway and Taxi Sign Night Lighting...?

Featured Replies

Anyone else getting fuzzy looking runway lights and Taxi Signs at night?

I can see how this effect would be good for street lights but up close on runways it looks way to "Fuzzy" if not blurry...

Is there a specific setting to sharpen the night lights?

Thanks!

There are lot of problems with default airport lighting besides that! I would start with most fundamental one - the only thing you can see from 5-8 miles out is rotating beacon. Instead in Asobo version you see approach lights. If approach light were that bright is in MSFS pilots would go blind looking nearby!

So True!

So you get the Fuzzy/Blurry lights as well?

Guess it's nothing to do with my settings then!

A lot of the reflections off surfaces and clouds in the sim seem to have a "fuzzy" or "grainy" texture to them.  The instruments in the Icon A5 were particularly bad the last time I flew it.  I haven't flown it since Patch 2, but it looked like looking at the instruments through the ground glass on an old SLR camera focusing screen.

Maybe you're seeing the same thing with the night lighting.

Yes I agree but it seems most noticeable at night when viewing Taxi signs and runway lights...

Is there any setting to sharpen this?
