As the title suggests - tonight (28th Sept 2020 ~11am-1pm UTC) getting nothing in the Live Airport Activity for any major world airports nor any real world live traffic in the sim.

Apparenty MSFS 2020 gets it data from Flightaware but the site has been up the whole time. Scenery download, live online player traffic and connection to MS servers are all OK - its only real world traffic that does not work at the moment.

Anyone else had the same issue ? 

I noticed zero real-world traffic on a flight yesterday evening as well (Sunday around 1900z), whereas there had been plenty the day before.

Maybe something to do with upcoming update. Maybe some background services are allready at different version. 

Yesterday evening I did a flight from KLAX down to KSAN and it was the busiest i'd seen live traffic since release. I'll be doing a flight after the school run shortly so i'll report back with what I see today.

Reporting in as promised. Currently flying Paris to London (it's a beautiful sunset btw) and not one piece of live traffic has been seen.

I also have not seen live traffic or airport data since around 10am yesterday, I saw that flightaware has been having problems so I thought it was because of that, but flightaware came back up about an hour ago and still no live traffic in MSFS2020. Live weather is still working though.

No live traffic as of 2:00 MDT 9/28

flew down from the UK to Menorca and back today and no live traffic in 5 - 6 hours of flight. 😞

Beginning yesterday, September 27, 2020 at 15:15Z FlightAware experienced some interruptions of service both in our website and our web products including FlightXML and Firehose. We will be keeping the public and our customers informed of any further changes here.

Looks like it’s back up - a full board of flights at all major airports now .. 

Still be good to know how many of the flights are actually used in the sim because the biggest airports are never anywhere near as busy as real life eg. flight radar 24 - yes I know where in pandemic but still should be more planes around.

Yep, I can report I just saw a plane. Only one but one more than yesterday. Progress.

Something was going on with these services yesterday. Flightaware was completely down for a period of time while Flightradar24 was also down at the same time.

Yes this is the strange thing with the traffic - prior to the downtime I never saw more than 1 or 2 aircraft near any major airport and no matter how busy the live traffic world map is. 

Then last night I fly from Incheon Korea (quiet) to Beijing over Dalian - once I got to Chinese airspace there were plenty of activity at both these airports. Beijing in particular on arrival was almost like a normal airport with live real aircraft (not simmers who were also there) circling and landing quite regulalry - much closer to watching Flightradar24.

Will try again tonight see if I get the same levels of traffic at this or other airports.
