Can't find this thread that had like 25 pages any more. Did it get deleted for some reason? Hopefully he hasn't flown the coop from the less tactful of the forum!

The above two fixes both work, but searching for the original post (linked on P-12C Pilot's blog) brings up this message:"The page you requested cannot be displayed. Missing Topic"Pietro.

Looks like a good time to start a conspiracy theory involving ACES, Phil, TDragger and the subversion of all things FSX ;)

Well the google cache thing doesn't seem to retrieve the later posts in that thread including Mike T's very eloquent contribution. Bruceb

I guess the same thing happened with some other threads in "Flying Clubs" theme. I just went there to check if there are any news on NE Flying Club, and saw several threads absent. Tom? Anyone?

I agree. The thread had a lot of serious factual information and serious proposals being discussed. In addition to the thorough message Phil Taylor posted, and the responses and questions it generated, tdragger proposed doing away with sliders, for example, and I posted a rebuttal.Surely you keep a back-up, Tom, and can restore this thread. This one was a keeper. Please do what you can to restore it.-Seadog

Well! Lets have a copy here...till the original thread is found.Quote:------------------------------------------------------------------------Hi, Let me introduce myself. I am Phil Taylor and I am Senior PM for Graphics and Terrain in Aces Studio. I joined Aces during the end-game of FSX and am now involved in all the studio projects moving forward.I am seeing a lot of threads and a lot of thrashing on this forum, and I thought I would try to address some of the discussions and draw a line in the sand. One big topic of discussion is performance (FPS) and DX10.DX10 by itself isn
