Paulo Ricardo - Rio de Janeiro SBRJ for P3D v5 released

Recommended Posts

From the previous it looks good. Unfortunately I am not seeing a discount for owners of previous P3D version.

Thanks for the heads-up-

Yes it does look good but given there's no upgrade price available for previous owners, I may wait for a sale to arrive.

This scenery is a total steal at $14. I actually think it's one of the best P3D sceneries out there for P3Dv5 at the moment. I think it's at the level of FlyTampa and FlightBeam, not per se because the airport itself is as highly detailed as those developers' offerings, but because it provides an all-around stunning scenery package for Rio de Janeiro. I also activated TropicalSim's SBGL (not P3Dv5 compatible yet) and they work quite well together.

Does it completely install outside P3D root? If not, which root directories are being used (effect, textures, others?)?

It indeed looks stunning. I will get it probably to use FSLABS a320 and practise landings.....as it has nice and special approaches.

Does anybody had the pdv4 version before? I wondered if the upgrade to the v5 version was worth $14 or is it just the same

Hi, it does not, but all folders (Autogen, effects, etc, are installed in same folder and addon.xml is been used). So what I did, was copy the main folder to another dirve and then used simstarter NG to create another addon.xml file, and then uninstall the scenery.
