I had to say CS757 still looks good even without PBR... That's not a deal breaker for me.

Flight Dynamic seems improved, at least the TOR/TOD and trip fuel consumption is closer to the realworld data.

It says VNAV is improved.... but still not good enough to get you down smoothly from T/D via an complex STAR all the way down to FAF/FAP like PMDG or FSL bird, but slightly better than QW787 and FT190 then.....there will be less drama if there are less restrictions in STAR then...

It's in a werid niche that has some depth on system simulation like for Hyd,Elec and Air, but not deep enough for failure simulation or such sort....well, personally I think they did better job than QW(even 787, QW757 is far flater than this). And I like it over Aerosoft's normal flight only approach.

Selecting the P3dV5 Captain Sim B757 shuts down my sim on start up or when I start the sim on a different aircraft...then select CS 757 it shuts down my sim.

With 1.601 hotfix, they wiped out some quite annoying bug, and the VNAV descned is much better now.

It's now a to-go aircraft for a normal flight, while not a failure trainner as PMDG737/FSL320, it now flys great for a normal route. I'd place it higher than QW787 or FT190 then.

But unless you are a 757 fan like me, the price might still be a little high IMO

Thanks for the heads-up about the hotfix.  I wish they would email their customers when they release something like this.

Is the performance still rough?  Hard to use it at a lot of airports becuase it drops my FPS down to 15 or so while PMDG and usually Aerosoft can hold me steady near 25.

I just can't imagine they are selling any new 757's at the price they are charging.  No PBR.  MSFS like it or not has slowed down P3D purchases.  It's their business to run, but I think if priced significantly lower they would actually be able to sell this plane to new customers.

Unless...and I'm speculating...they don't want to interfere with their B767 sales...

even that one is priced high.  On one hand there is no other 767 to be had.  On the other, I suspect the market isn't huge for people who want one in the first place.  I love 767's.  And 757's.  But it seems like the older birds don't sell as well
