If they take the lead they have, and run with it, they could do A LOT to improve their reputation with simmers who like more than just eye-candy. Both the 182 (which I do not own) and the Mooney (which I do own) are great starts on a complex aeroplane simulation in MSFS. If @Carenado steps up to the plate with an incremental series of releases, they would, in my opinion, benefit greatly. If not, they will return to the eye-candy market and all the serious simmers will avoid them until folks like @Bert Pieke come along and mod them into more than mediocrity. Fingers x'ed! C I think we can start a new thread where we all throw out our best guesses, wishes, and desires, for the next few Carenado planes that will be showing up in the Marketplace. We might even be able to shape the finished products on a few of them if we tell them in a nice way what we are willing to pay for. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .

I just wish there was a route to the files so the user community could finish the job, as usual. That's where Dan Klau and another dev, Simcoders enter the scene, hopefully. 😄
October 5, 20205 yr The only 182 I would have purchased for MSFS was the F1 version. They were actually giving it away for FSX. It was a good one back in the day. Nice review. MSFS

Nice review. I remember when Chock expressed his opinion that $50 was just too much to ask for a C182, Flight1 went ballistic and let Avsim know exactly what they thought of them. Everyone eventually calmed down and that C182 did quite well, because it was a good model with a good G1000. When Pigs Fly . Ray Marshall .
October 5, 20205 yr Sorry, last small piston I flew, besides the Extra 300, was a PA 32-301T Saratoga. Needless to say my money to the first decent version.

October 5, 20205 yr Thanks for the review. Very fair and I concur with you, if that makes a diff hah. I also vote for a C-210 of some kind. A real beast - 300 Hp or better. October 5, 20205 yr Nice review. I have been flying it since the day it released, and have to agree when the power goes off, you will soon be landing! Hoping for the Archer II...
