October 5, 20205 yr Thank you for this detailed review. I haven't bought any payware yet, and have been bouncing back and forth between the two planes. I almost bought the Mooney, but was leaning back towards the 182 when I read this. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

I rented one for one person day charters for some time and it worked out OK. I used to fly a T-210 and also a C-177RG. I think the 177RG is one of the favorite light planes I ever flew. It had really nice harmony in the controls, and was just smooth and FUN to fly. The 210's power was nice, but I would prefer the 177RG any day. Kerry W. October 6, 20205 yr I've been hesitant to grab this based on mixed reviews. It seems to be a good little aircraft to you. I may just say heck with it and finally grab it.
October 6, 20205 yr Hello all, A big thank you to the OP .. great work Sir. Predictions? I really do not care as long as there is a steady stream of new aircraft. Personally, I would love, a Phenom300 here with, a fully functional G1000 or at least up to P3D standards. It would need to incorporate the SVS and where, oh where, is RXP or Flight1 GTN750 in the scheme of things?. Bring on the SDK I just applaud Carenado for what they have produced so far, although, MSFS avionics are somewhat a setback. Things will improve though. Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. October 6, 20205 yr My vote is for Mr. Hoover's magic machine. He and I used to have flying competitions in the Shrike. I must admit he was a bit better n' me....but I'd demo a 1g barrel roll with Vodka where he used water after the one time he did it with Vodka and he hit turbulence at the top of the roll and spilled it in his face! 🤣 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

October 7, 20205 yr I'm eager to buy this aircraft, but the engine sound inside the cockpit sounds terribly annoying on the youtube videos I've seen, so I wonder if it's possible to use the engine sound from any other aircraft in the game by editing some file, C-172 for example? October 7, 20205 yr Stupid as I am, I could not help but buy it, the plane is superbly well made and flies well, but the engine sound makes me nauseous, I can't stand to fly it, it is horrible, so it was a waste of money. I tried the in game option under sounds. To set to headphones. It’s to mimic IRL noise cancelling headset. When I sat in the front seat next to the pilot to have a 40 min helicopter tour of NY, I could not get over the noise reduction the headset gave. Have you tried that option and do you think it’s a more realistic setting? David Murden. Have you tried that option and do you think it’s a more realistic setting? That is interesting question. I'm using Bose A20 IRL.I have tried other brands including Light Speed Zulu. So each ANR headset sound little bit different. To me it's up to individual plane maker to mimic particular ANR model. In MSFS I use audio preset "headset on" (or something like that). It's not perfect but better than nothing. Of course I would tweak audio to my liking if each aircraft if they had their own preset. All MSFS Carenado planes have very load fuel pump! At the same when you do steep descent Carenado lack of airframe air noise which you can hear through ANR IRL. So yeah sound could be proved greatly. On other hand if authentic ANR will be implemented in single or multi piston a/c people will complain about missing switch sound because in real life all you can hear is engine LOL Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F).
