October 7, 20205 yr I saw the video at the end of this post and had to find it in the sim. That's one heck of an airfield. Always neat when you taxi to the runway via sidewalk Alpha, then take off on what is essentially a sledding hill in the middle of a steep-sided and narrow valley. Oh and with a big building just barely off to the right at the end of the runway, and a nice clump of pine trees uncomfortably close to it on the other side. Private airfield that isn't even, that I could find, technically registered as an airfield, so of course it's not in MSFS. Only it is! Start at the Bolzano, Italy airport (LIPB), and head straight north. You'll see a narrow valley just across the city from the airport. Fly up that valley for a little while and you'll see the airfield. Unfortunately, the scenery AI stuck a creek a little too far into the top of the strip, so you can land (barely) but taking off will be challenging if you're in a turboprop because getting too close to the tiny little rivulet of water will make the sim register a crash, so your takeoff distance isn't as long as it should be. But I suspect someone will come along and tweak it, because it was a (freeware I think) addon in FSX/p3d. October 7, 20205 yr It’s an old video that we’ve seen before, the aerodrome is very well known and is one of the most dangerous. Nothing new. From memory there is a version for FSX. October 7, 20205 yr Thats awesome. This is why I would love to see this aircraft in MSFS. Get in to some ridiculously small airfields/ tiny grass strips. The PW PT6A engine is a beast for that aircraft CYVR LSZH I7-14700k 64gb 6000Mhz DDR5 ASUS z690 ROG STRIX Gaming RTX 4080 Super,

I would love the Pilatus, but until then I would give it a try in the TBM! 😁 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. October 7, 20205 yr You want a short landing strip? How about this one... ;) I would model it — if only I could find it on a map!
