October 7, 20205 yr Hello, I use P2A and when I "file" my flightplan it automatically generate different Deprature and approach from what I want so I change it then request for clearance and the atc says : " your flight plan seems to be out of date. Please file a new one and call back for clearance." What to do ?how to fix it ?
October 7, 20205 yr Commercial Member Set the option on the FltPln tab of Config to "Force Pilot Runway Selection". This will lock in your selections when you File. As for the "flight plan out of date", anytime you change your flight plan after filing, it no longer matches what was filed and is deemed 'out of date". Dave

Dave "Force Pilot Runway Selection" is already ticked, but still it choose random SID and approache when I file and when I change it the ATC says that the flight plan is out of date. What to do ?
October 8, 20205 yr Commercial Member If "Force Pilot Runway Selection" is checked, then the SID/Runway will not change when you File. If this is happening, please email a log file with this behavior to me at [email protected] so I can have a look. P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Regardless of settings, if you modify a flight plan after filing, you will get the "out of date" error and have to file the plan again. Dave

Dave I managed to use my Departure and approach settings by ticking "force approach runway" and "force departure runway" in the Departure and the approach choose window. If I'll have further problems I will upload my log file here so you can look in it.
