No mention of an AP fix in the next patch - Unacceptable

Okay Jim, that's good to know. I honestly haven't had time to even start MSFS for the past month or so, much less 'fly' anything!

Yes. I normally climb in FLC (IAS) mode. I have tried low speed / high angle climbs, and high speed / low angle climbs (with a constant power setting) I have tried it with and without Live Weather. No matter what I do, I cannot get this particular bug to manifest. The TBM autopilot in patch 3 behaves no differently than it did in patch 2 on my particular MSFS installation.

You sure got lucky! Don't touch a thing on that setup! 🙂

Not my video, but another example. I've experienced far worse in the Longitude.

This is kind of the dumbest thing I have seen yet concerning this.  Folks, when he states this is 'well within its range' he is far off. There is no way that plane climbs at that rate at that altitude, period.  Simply look at what happens to his airspeed when he toggles into VS - it rapidly falls off, it did not 'stabilize' worth word not allowed (notice the video ended here).  So, in FLC his speed setting is way to  high, the aircraft is tries to accelerate to that speed, hits Vso 1.3 and noses down, tries again, noses down... see the pattern.

If you insist on FLC mode, try this.  Set it up in VS where you have a stable speed and climb, note your speed.  Now set you FLC speed to that PLUS 10 knots!  I fly this plane all the time with various modes and have never seen this.  I am emphatically stating here that this is an issue between the joysitck and the eyeball.

MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

For the simple fact that WE have no idea why certain things are not being Fix when WE want and since we have no idea Why they may not be focusing on that specific issue they may need to lay down certain things first in order to keep working on something else Is the reason im not demanding anything .

I see some feel the need to have ASOBO make a video and explain with detail why things are taking longer and why your specific issue is not being taken care of and even if that was ever to happen there probably be another 87 threads complaining because they explained they selfs too much .

A personally know what some here in our community are capable off my hat off to all of you that can fix things but AT this point to assume that people on our community are more capable of the guys at asobo is a bit of a disrespectful thing to them .

AS A REAL WORLD PILOT THIS IS THE REASON WHY YOU WONT SEE ME STARTING COMPLAINT THREADS .

This is the only experience i ever had dealing directly with software developers and other team members

A few years ago a known level D simulator team invited me and some other US pilots to help put together a few units A MILLION AND A HALF ISSUES CAME UP I got frustrated at one point and turned into a whining kid the next day we was introduced to the the guys behind  software and the amount of issue reports from other teams around the country was insane . this small team had to figure how to fix issue B without breaking A C AND H and also keep in mind we are not talking about a cheap development this people sell their equipment for millions and they basically go to a similar scenario where one customer understands and other feel like "HEY IM PAYING MILLIONS FIX MY ISSUE AND FORGET EVERYONE ELSE "

when it comes to FS2020 i paid the full pop but in my personal opinion I dont feel like i have to make this guys stop what ever it is that they are doing to fix something thats preventing ME personally from flying .

We have no clue whats the reason they are doing things the way they are and honestly im not mad that they are not explaining to everyone why and how things are being worked on in a certain way  ...

I think people neeed to be a tad more proactive as well...  I know they look at the votes on the main forums and they state that they watch other forums, including this one, there is one true tracker that I am sure they use and that is Zendesk.

If you have an issue and you haven't reported it on Zendesk, then frankly you don't have an issue or a right to complain about it not being fixed..  all the voting in the world is just going to be a nice to have for Marketing to make good noises about.

I have filed 4 Zendesk issues since launch, and whilst they would not have achieved many ( if any ) votes in the main forums, in the last update 3 of the 4 were fixed..  none made the patch notes, but they were fixed all the same along with the other 600+ bug fixes and edge cases..

So,  if you have time to complain on the forum, you have time to file a Zendesk issue and that is way more likely to get some attention.

Asobo didn´t fix the AP problem simply because they don´t know how to do it...

Don't remember, googled it - and you're right. I had it for sure, but I can't remember as well as the awful performance and graphics of FS95.

FS95 was basically FS5 for Windows 95. No great improvement, and the same awful graphics.

Lol 😂 really? And you know this how ? Come on tell us how you know 😂

Asobo and Microsoft point out the fact that they read all the comments in Avsim. This is good. I still think that a cloud based spreadsheet list is needed to

1.list the bugs

2. give it a priority by the number of checks that it has next to it.

For example, if the AP bug is listed in one of the rows, all the column boxes next to it could have a check mark. The more check marks, the more people have indicated the fact that it's important and requires attention.

These threads create a lot of text for people to vent, but impossible for any normal human to sift through. Why is it so hard to create a community based google doc spreadsheet?

Before the latest patch, there was no autopilot problem - at least not the one being discussed here (bouncing up and down in pitch). Since it only started with the last patch, and there has not been a new patch since then, we have no idea at the moment if they “know how to fix it” or not”.

You know this how?  It’s groundless hyperbole and baseless accusations such as this that gives the community a bad reputation, and simply discourages developers from working with us to resolve issues.

This is what the alpha testing has clearly shown. They take the feedback of users as they deem fit, not to say with a large pinch of salt.

The Asobo folks are not dense but the Microwoft PR should consider toning down the hype to more reasonable leVel  (that includes Neuman). They are in my opinion a major source of the backlash we hear from frustrated users. But you know the story of the frog and the scorpio...

If people could divorce their own hype from what people like Jorg are saying, I don't see any overheated "hype" - I see devs who are enthusiastic about what they are making, reinforcing that they want to make it great.  If things are being worked on, Jorg says they are being worked on.

I actually do think that in retrospect, they should've done a little more expectations management in the run-up to release, and not let peoples' imaginations run wild with how perfect and amazing everything was going to be - default study level aircraft! the end of third party addons! etc. - but since launch I've had no problem at all with their messaging.
