October 9, 20205 yr So I have watched two or three online videos on this subject and expect that other members might be interested in "upgrading" airports important to them. My local airport, a busy east coast regional, has a tower, a radio antenna, and flat blobs of color where hangars and other buildings/structures should be. The redux design process does not appear to be that cumbersome given that for most, runways and taxiways are already highly representative. Yes, I know about the lacking taxiway markings. What I would like to see is an exchange among us, to identify from default airports, scenery objects that are a close match for those we would like to position at our airports in our "upgrades". My thought is to post a photo or aerial image of an actual building, structure, or hangar or runs of hangars and allow other members developing their own favored airports to respond with potential matches they have found in the Developer mode array of scenery objects. If that were to occur in the general MFS 2020 forum the sheer volume of posts would almost immediately bury such collaboration. Thus my thought for a separate forum. Personally the airport redux appears not that difficult other than ID of matching or nearly matching available objects. Any thumbs up?
