Best JFK airport scenery for V5

Recommended Posts

DD's. FSDT's is way to old now, they still have the old Pan Am terminal 3. And FSDT will never replace it for P3D. They've jumped on the MSFS bandwagon along with Aerosoft. Dont expect any new development to start from any of the 3PD for P3D anymore.

I agree with you in terms of dd being more updated and FSDreamTeam probably won’t update it. They’ve actually lost so many airports to other developers. Vegas, Fort Lauderdale are examples. But in my opinion fsdt looks better than dd. But paired with dd nyc scenery. Still jfk could and should be so much better than we have now

I've avoided Drzewiecki Design recently as their sceneries always have problems and never integrate with SODE or GSX properly.

Anyway, bit the bullet and bought and downloaded NY V2 sceneries for JFK and others. Loaded it up.

Used GSX menu to dock jetways and get the dreaded... "No Jetways Here" message.

Sigh! I mean, come on, surely they should be able to get this right?!

That's an interesting comment. You are probably right there.

They had planned ZBAD (for P3Dv4) but I havent seen that airport come out from them and its been almost a year now.

With regards to ZBAD, here's what Umberto says: "There's a fairly good scenery for ZBAD for P3D we didn't knew about, and a fairly good scenery for MSFS is also coming from another developer, so we'll moved to other things right now." Although the developer of this particular scenery seems to have stopped developing and all his sceneries have become unavailable, including ZBAD, so...

Just before V5 KORD using the full SDK was released when users asked what was next the reply was KFJK was going to get the same for V5. when reminded  not long ago about this they said we did not know about MSFS that has changed thing`s.

PS remember he reads this forum he could jump and correct this but i don`t think he will.
