Anyone tried the mod with the new update?

If so what’s the verdict?

The made some changes to mixture I believe is this affecting the mod at all?

Came looking for same answer

Noticed the Halloween challenge uses 152 and the vs indicator and altitude was broken for me (using the C152 realism mod) so removed it for now.  Good practice to remove all aircraft mods/avionic mods after the update to rule out any issues, then introduce them back in slowly but usually they have all required some kind of update after the latest patch.

LOL - I believe that is supposed to happen. It is the Halloween ghosts playing havoc with your instruments. They go belly up after that initial blast of thunder and lightning as you start the challenge. That’s the challenge part, nailing the landing with nothing but your airspeed indicator working.

I just tried the G36 mod with FS2020 update all it seems to perform as expected. However when you add the WT G1000 mod there are several problems which have been confirmed by Working Title.

John

Looks like we will need a WT G1000 mod update.

They already put out a new Update 5 compatible version, nothing new just Update 5 compatibility

Hi John,

That's good news, if only I could see it as well. All my liveries have disappeared post update. Can you confirm the Turbo mod's liveries are showing both in the hanger and when you load one or another in the sim? Thank you.

No way that the mod is working as usual. Liveries are gone!

The Turbo Mod V2 liveries are all there for me after the update, both in the hangar and in the sim.  But I'm writing a guide on installing liveries, and had just copied the bone-stock Turbo Bonanza V2 release folder into my Community folder as a starting point after the update, coincidentally.  . So maybe a re-install of the Turbo Bonanza V2 mod folder would fix it?  As an additional reference point, I'm running the Steam version of MFS Premium Deluxe.

Just tried the original v2 turbo mod and they are now showing up. This sim is playing tricks on me.

Hello all,

I saved the Community folder to another drive prior to upgrade.

Upgraded and then pasted the saved community folder back into place.

Checked Bonanza and liveries and liveries not there.

Removed Bonanza Turbo v2 from community folder and reinstalled.

Removed G36 liveries from Community folder and reinstalled G36 liveries into community folder.

All working again.

Hope this procedure (mentioned previously) can help those with problems.

Regards

Tony

As I replied in the other thread on this - it is truly bizarre. Because when you say you "installed" the Turbo mod again, of course you are not installing anything,- you are just placing  the same files back in the same folder. Perfectly reasonable, but there is something in this sim which must be alerting itself to a newly placed set of files even though they are EXACTLY the same files it previously did not recognise.

Perhaps there is a savvy file protocol expert here who can explain how it is possible for a folder of identical files to not work one minute then work the next. I cannot get my own liveries to show doing what you did. I have to use the project/ aircraft editor in dev mode then "resync". How is it possible for a team of devs to mess up a simple community folder through an unrelated update? It's one thing to be accident prone, but this is a whole new level of the concept !

Mine works perfectly

Which makes it even more bizarre!

There are multiple things that happen after updates that are bizzare... different people with different systems seem to have different results. Odd indeed. But was happy your Mod worked, because I can't fly stock airplanes anymore.
