Mechanic Sucked into Engine

airlines are responsible for setting procedures, but everyone himself is responsible for following them.If procedures were in place (as they always are) the only reason something like this can happen is a major error on the part of the person involved, you're simply not allowed to be within a set distance from a running jet engine.

Basically, but not that low, there're a good 4 or 5 feet off the ground, Still enough suction that if you get near that red line, you're toast.edit- I was just talking with a friend about this incident.
