Hehe....we wait patiently, knowing you'll do everything you can to get your products into the new sim as quickly as you can once you have to data you need from MS/AS. 😉

I did, in the video on my non-monetized youtube channel, where I buy the addons to show them to you.

Thanks but no thanks, I reject the idea that I'm somehow making or promoting something.

I have 5 pages of typed copy for that review. Its called centralization. It allows me to do it once with visuals instead of 5 pages of posting here with screenshots.

My whole channel started because someone asked me a question that I didn't want to keep typing over and over, so I made a video.

Take your pessimism elsewhere, I'm getting tired of it.

There are any number of reasons why someone might not want (or might not be able to) view video content on youtube. Some people are concerned about their privacy. You may not be aware, but youtube tracks viewers of embedded videos. So someone may be purposely avoiding youtube to protect their privacy and unknowingly surrender that privacy by watching an embedded video. Some people don't have access to mobile data, or it may be prohibitively expensive, which is why they're using a primarily text-based forum to begin with.

The point is, your stated aim is to keep people from getting scammed, which is laudable. Nobody is going to argue with you about that. But you may be (however inadvertently) causing them to do just that.

Your thread title isn't clickbait, and if you want to give people the option of watching your video, wonderful. But a written synopsis, however brief, would be useful for and considerate of those who, for any number of reasons, don't want to or can't watch youtube videos.

If you want to block me for saying that, please feel free.

Would you like a cup of tea with that?

The man made a while video on the issue, but noo, its not enough, he HAS to also do a written description.

Remember its your choice not to watch youtube.

Actually thinking of it, he MUST provide us with the French, Spanish, German video too, because he has to think about all the people that dont speak english. This guy is so selfish.

@mtr75 time for a "humility" pill.

I am one of those who would usually much rather have some text in front of me that I can scan in 5 minutes than go to Youtube to listen to some annoying jabberjaw streeeeeeetch the same amount of content out to 30 minutes along with hyperkinetic editing and that super-grating "Youtube voice".  You know the one.

And yes, I would personally have preferred this post in text, too.  But the linked video is none of the above:  it's brief, to-the-point, calmly voiced, and not annoying in the least (beyond the subject matter, that is).  And it effectively conveys the subject matter.

And you know what else?  Since this is a discussion forum, one is totally able to make a polite request like, say, "I would rather not watch a youtube video, can someone summarize this for me?"

But that's not the approach you took.   Yours was... surly at best.  I suspect that might be where the urge to block comes from, not your belated rationalization for your first comment.

Trying to figure out why those same, poor, completely functionally inept people who, for any number of reasons, don't want to or can't watch youtube videos, would struggle to type out this simple phrase on their keyboard IF they were in such a state that a youtube vid somehow rendered them helpless, seeking knowledge otherwise when coming in to this forum chat:

"Hi @WidowsSon , thanks for exposing a scam about this product.  Sadly, I can't view youtube videos.  Can you supply a brief synopsis here so I can understand the general content of the video?  Thanks and keep up the great work!"

Suggesting that the OP include this to be useful and considerate is not far fetched nor unreasonable by any means, however I struggle to cope with people asking to burden (even slightly) a contributor who's already taken the time and resources to provide this valuable service as is, by implying that he should do more because it may inconvenience any competent person who could surely ask for that themselves, or seek other ways if engaging a media source, that has become the most common source of video communication on the planet, is somehow a burden or risk to them.

Hope that does not sound like I'm bashing you for your comment, because its not.

Hi @Doering  thanks for the youtube link to a witty song that fits the tone of this thread.  Sadly, I can't view youtube videos.  Can you supply a brief synopsis here so I can understand the general content of the video?  Thanks and keep up the great work!"

Sorry....IMPOSSIBLE to resist. 🙂

Besides the obvious, what I also find equally objectionable is the online vendors lack of vetting of the products they sell.

Are they too busy, too lazy, or just wanting to grab as much cash as they can selling garbage and willing to deal with the fallout later?

I would suspect it would be the latter.
