RealityXp Gauges in FS9 Under Vista

Recommended Posts

I am returning to Flight Sim after a long absence. I have successfully resurrected my simulator (at least for the most part) and am ready to get back to where I used to be. I bought most of the - at the time - available RXP gauges and still have both the install applications and proof of purchase. For some reason, even though I have run the install programs the gauges do not show up. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Running FS9 under Vista SP2

Any help would be greatly appreciated. My health has pretty much confined me to the house lately so "virtual aviation" would be a real boon and RXP gauges are the best out there.

Have you tried downloading the latest installers from RXP? Maybe Vista compatibility was addressed some time after your purchase.

At some point in your life you just have to move on. I don't know your situation but running a 17.5 year old sim on a 14 year old operating system seems a bit like looking for trouble. No offense.

Fsx is 5 dollars and windows 10 is free and you can get tons of freeware which  could make it a much better experience.

I know it is off topic but why are you running such old stuff if I may ask?

I respect everyone's choices

 I was just wondering.

Happy flying!

I have all Reality XP gauges working fine with FS9 on windows 7 platform. You must install using the Flight1 installer - so re-download these from the RXP web store.

OK. How do I do that? I have proof of purchase etc. Heck! I even have (and have used) the RXP Vista installers. No joy. Any ideas? Any way to actually correspond with Tech Support at RXP?

Maybe here at the RXP forum?
