do you remember if the outside temp was accurately shown below 32F?

Unfortunately I never checked it, I just remember that it did not snow in the game as it did in real life.

On the BBC lunchtime weather report it showed the situation in the mid-USA. Heavy snow over a wide area. I flew in P3Dv4.5 from Dallas to Kansas City and there was snow on the ground and it was falling heavily. One of the few times my GPU was on 100%.

So now is an ideal time if you want to test snowy conditions in MFS.

I flew out of Kden last night where they were having a snow storm. Visibility was almost zero like a dense fog but no snow falling or on the ground. seems the snow like the rain is still needing some work. Atis says heavy rain and Im lucky to get a few drops on the windshield.

Sure it does. The speed in which it covers the ground is dictated by the frequency of the precip. Look at the pic I posted above. We also have control in how fast the terrain is covered. We may look into giving the end-user accessible parameters.

Oh awesome! Any fix coming for the Temp issues at altitude?

@timest how is the poor fps bug coming along? Did you fix that yet?

We are aware that many people have reported this during injection phase, we are continuing to investigate ways around this. One way is to utilize what we just introduced in our latest public beta v1.1 as 'Enable Persistent Weather Load'. We are receiving reports that this is helping.

What does the persistent weather load feature do?
