Looking to get three 70"+ TV for my flight simulator playing MSFS 2020. The Q80T is cheaper but does not have gsync (however if I get the new AMD GPUs released soon that might not be an issue).

The blacks, viewing angle are better on the LG but whether is worth double the price? I can imagine there would be less blooming of the stars and night lighting on the CX?

I have Q80T. I was explained here before I purchased it that gcync won’t make a big difference on 4K TV. I was using 3 monitors before and I am on Q80T now, and I am really happy. Images quality is really good and very detailed. I was suggested LG OLED before but I was warned about burn ins. I decided not to take a risk and pay double the price.

So what's the advantage of a TV over a monitor for FS2020? Is it the size that's enticing? I'm also considering it. Too bad curved TVs are not that common anymore.

Do any of these displays support 120Hz natively?

I have 3 LG CX 77" I got for an amazing price. Amazing night flying, the OLED does stars so beautifully and the blacks are amazing. The only issue is the slight reflection during night and the TV auto-dims if you leave it in cruise for a while.

Any feedback on the Q90/Q95T by Samsung or is it overkill compared to the Q80T?

if you are only worried about flight sim, 120hz wouldn't be needed.

I literally set up the Samsung Q90T last night, 55 inch. Not for simming though, purely televisual entertainment.

I'm looking at it for Flight sim, sadly it's not available at sizes below 55 inch

Yeah 55 is small these days, which is astonishing really. Technology advances so fast.

Fantastic TV... watched Mandalorian season two episode one last night and it was stunning.

If you want a 4K TV but less that 55 inches, you'll have trouble finding a high refresh rate version or GSync or Freesynch. The tech seems mostly on 50 inch or higher from what I've seen.

For my new build, I'll probably just stick to a 27 inch 1440p monitor. I'm close to the monitor so can't go crazy.
