Installing Orbx airports in True Earth...

Has anyone tried installing Orbx airports in True Earth?  If they work is it necessary to also install Vector?

If it works, DON'T FIX IT.  Vector has no elevation correction tab for P3D5 anyway.

True Earth is an Orbx airport, so I’d be incredibly surprised if it’s not compatible with Orbx airports!

I installed both Palm Springs and Monterey into True Earth Southern and Northern California.  They fit perfectly.  Slewing around the perimeter of each airport I found no anomalies.  These are two airports I frequently fly into or out of in True Earth and having the Orbx airport installed makes a big difference to me than putting up with default airports.

Sue, my True Earth is installed in P3Dv4 so Vector should work although I have not yet installed it and won't try it unless I see a need for it.

I am going to start installing more Orbx airports and will be reporting on those that work and those that don't.

Lake Tahoe (KTVL) does not work for me.  No buildings show up.

ALL of the Orbx addon airports for California fit perfectly into True Earth Northern and Southern California except Redding (KRDD) and Lake Tahoe (KTVL).

Buildings don't show up at Lake Tahoe

Redding has a serious elevation problem.  I installed Vector but KRDD is not listed as an airport after I ran the airport elevation routine.

I was disappointed in True Earth because anomalies I found in the scenery and the default looking airports.  While anomalies like buildings and entire neighborhoods located in the water I have no way of fixing the Orbx addon airports make flying True Earth more enjoyable for me.

Tomorrow I will be adding Oregon and Washington addon airports and will report on them.
