Find a better gpu, not too expensive, purchased from somewhere that will take it back if it doesn't work well enough? I think that could be done for about $150-$200.

The GTX 770 is actually similar to a 1050ti in performance BUT that 2GB VRAM will be the real killer as2GB is just not enough, even 4GB is pushing the friendship

Correct, the VRAM is not enough... case closed.. unfortunately. 😉

I replaced my GTX560 with a 1660s and MSFS runs fine in mostly high settings on my i5-2500k oc’ed at 4000 with 8GB RAM at around 1600x900. Good enough for me and way better than any other sim before

Yed but careful, on your old rig, make sure your mobo will accept the new card. Otherwise its mobo+card+potentially new proc if you cant find the right chipset etc..

So dont jump on a faster better card without first making sure everything else is gonna work
