Hello Everyone,

The P3D 5.1 release version has an issue preventing proper EA mode weather control via SimConnect with ASP3D (or any other weather add-on). We have forwarded our findings to P3D developers and we hope that it will be resolved soon with a new P3D update.

We should have our ASP3D compatible update posted very quickly after the fix is available.

With P3D in chaos and MSFS just a glorified scenic picture gallery...it's not a good time for flight simmers

What’s ridiculous is the need for a 3rd party wx generator in a “professional” simulator; after all, weather is a massive component of aviation.  It would be nice if P3D would organically include this feature.

This is bad.  I just updated to 5.1 because FSL updates were out.  I forgot about Hi Fi weather.  Now what go back to 5.0 or wait a few days?  Is there another weather program that will give me live weather?

I assume v5.1 HF1 will be released to address this issue (and maybe others), so I guess it is best to go back to v5.0

Good grief...well it is easy to roll back to 5.0 for the time being if anyone needs to.  Just go to Legacy downloads and reinstall the 5.0 Client. I just did and now have my Live Wx back. I will wait on reinstalling 5.1 until some of this stuff is figured out....
