Great pics!  Yeah kinda' looks orange in that shot.  Need to pull the Mooney out and see if she's flying ok now?  Was she patched do you know? (She was having some problems in the patch-that-shall-not-be-spoken-here)

Mooney still says up to date. As long as you don't use the mouse button to turn HSI you will not get a CTD. Use scroll wheel. Liveries are still acting up.

If a boomer driver lets himself get caught, he’s not a very good boomer driver.

Hehe....even the Russian knock-off P3 snooping around the task force found him....but got an F14 escort wherever he went. 🙂

Kidding aside (as we tend to do in these inter-mission rivalries)...you and I both know OUR resources knew that he was "somewhere" lurking under the task force, and he just popped up right next to the Admirial's flagship to pick up his passengers. 🙂   It was quite the site to see out in the middle of the Med on our way to our destination. 😲

Here is a pic I treasure:  I was on the lead ship in the task force, and took this off the bow as we headed for our destination....American Sea Power all the way to the horizon, still gives me goosbumps. 🙂

Because I don't want to take my hand off the joystick while I'm flying.  I have the keystrokes mapped to the pov switch on my joystick.  I seem to have got around the problem now by using a rather convoluted combination of keystrokes to map to the joystick.  Bottom line though is that the arrow keys no longer appear to be recognised by the sim which is unfortunate as they're the default for move views around.

Actually, I take that back.  The ability to assign keys to an action appears completely stuffed.  On occasions I'm unable to assign anything as the input populated with a random selection of keys and no matter how many times you clear it, the same keys get prepopulated.  The assignments I previously made only seem to work intermittently.  The last patch definitely broke something.

I would suggest you map actual camera commands to joystick hats and buttons. There's no need to emulate keystrokes with joystick buttons.

I'd like to give an example, but I gotta go. A rough example. Hat switch Left = Move cockpit camera left.

The sim no longer seems to recognise the hat switch as an input.  When I click in the input box, nothing happens.  I can select it from the drop down list but it has no effect in the sim.  Something has definitely broken since the last patch.

I can't believe how much faster this sim is loading after the update. They are moving in the right direction.

Update: It's loading fast even with huge ORBX & Gaya airports. Before the update I had to remove them from the community folder.

Guys....I'm just flying around this small island. (Saba) airport TNCS.  These rocks, water, wave action are seriously next level!  Have never seen it look this good!  My pics, even as good as folks think they are...don't do the in-sim experience any justice....simply gob-smacked.

Hey Steve Dra, nice pics, but do you have any thoughts on what the water looks like around TNCS? 😉

To think this is stock, bare, simple, basic, nude FS2020, no addons, no nothing. Mind explosion.

Hehe....dunno....currently sitting in the quaint FBO (or terminal) at TNCS, trying to figure out how to get 3 pacs and all this luggage on to my 172 and head back to the big island! 🤣

Currently wiping brain matter off the walls of my sim "office". 🤣

Throw every addon at any previous sim and it will never look this good.  This is the sim I've been waiting for, for decades.  When the heavy metal comes into the scene, all of our lost brother's of the flight-levels, rarified air and chem-trail generation will join us low-level, scenery-loving "Screenshot simulator" pilots (I use that term loosely of course, hehe).

We'll all sit around the virtual FBO and sing Kumbaya! 😉

No steam update here yet

Check your version number. If you don't see it in game then you are likely in full screen mode. Press Alt-Enter to exit to windowed mode and version number appears in the window title bar.

Press Alt+Enter to change the program from full screen to windowed mode. The game version number is at the top title bar of the window. Additionally, the version number is available in-game by clicking on your gamer tag profile icon from the top right of the main screen. The version name is displayed in the dialogue box under your gamer tag

Just so I understand the context of your screenshots in this thread, did the hot fix improve visuals for you, or something? I’m confused.
