First simulator where we will have almost if not all sceneries we had before or we were dreaming of way earlier than we have the first airplane suitable for them. Bad luck for the devs, I for sure wait until there is a decent tubeliner before I invest any $$ into airport hub sceneries...

Think of it as an early investment by developers. When the PMDG comes out, those users will want airports to fly from/to as well and so will have a longer shelf-life.

Yes- I am quietly assembling my world wide destinations (except, this time trying to be extra picky to make sure that  they are done by reputable developers a la FlightBeam, FSDT, FlyTampa, LVFR, Orbx, Gaya etc.)  By the time my favorite jets get here, my cup will have run over 🙂
