Anyone know if the new Radeon 6000 will be as good as RTX 3080 for MSFS 2000. It seems that the RTX card is impossible to find, the Radeon cards will be cheaper and hopefully more available.

I am following this because I am interested in upgrading my 1080ti eventually.  I would be nice to go AMD for my entire system but AMD graphics has not really been nice for XPlane I believe.

What I have now (R9 3900 and Nvidia GTX1080ti) is currently working extremely well for all my platforms at the moment.

I am very much looking forward to the new 6000 reviews.

Also Sebastion Ang has just released information on a new VR headset with 2160 x 2160 both eyes and a FOV of 117 degrees for only USD499. I will be very interested to see what that headset will require and whether or not the Radeon 6000s will fill the bill.

Yea  ... all this AND MSFS ... yew liddle bewdy.

It is difficult to answer this question now since there are no 3rd party benchmarks for the new AMD cards. However, here is something you may want to keep in mind -- https://www.overclock3d.net/news/gpu_displays/smart_memory_access_reveals_the_all-amd_advantage_on_gaming_desktops/1

It would be soooo nice to have one-stop shopping for both the GPU and CPU and have synergy between the two. And availability would be a bonus too lol.
