P3D V5.1 Typical Flight1 Update Time GTN

It is my humble opinion and until someone shows me otherwise that the F1 GTN first of all does not officially support the latest garmin trainer and are not updating it so I have no choice but to view the F1 GTN as abandon ware. While the RXP officially supports and updates to the latest garmin trainer.

Again just my opinion take it or leave it.

100% Correct.. RXP all the way.

Although the F1 GTN's were working fine in P3D V5.1 for me I decided to make use of the discounted price on the RXP products. I initially had some issues with my antivirus software complaining about some RXP files it is now working well and I am very impressed by all the configurations options and the tool to replace the F1 gauges with RXP gauges.

The pricing does confuse me or am I being simple today? If I want 2x 750's do I need to buy that twice? Or will one purchase allow me to have 2 of the same unit in a panel?

It's $60 for both the 750 and 650? How does the replacement tool work?

Just to let everyone know I don't even bother with the replacement tool, well except for the A2A 182, on every other plane what I do is use space deck and just use the RXP pop out and move it onto my 10" touch screen tablet.

You don't need to buy 2 750's. Just get 1, RXP gives you the option to bundle a 2nd unit.. 650 for $24.95 which is great value for money, And why would you want 2 750's in your panel doing the same thing twice?

Take a look through the forum here  The support is fantastic and you will need a basic understanding of panel cfg's and how to edit them to fully enjoy the replacement tool. It's very intuitive and easy to do.

I have not tried a 2 x 750 panel but it seems to be possible, someone please correct me if I am wrong.  The answer came as I was typing. The $60 gives you both the 750 and 650 gauges, I see the discount offer has been extended.

The replacement tool is in the P3D Add-ons menu. It detects any F1 GTN gauges and gives a few options on how the replacement is handled while making a backup of your existing config. Works very well and it comes with a detailed manual.

Same here, I switched to RXP unit because of poor Flight1 response to new   Prepar3d versions. Now up to date.

I only bought the RXP GTN750 once.  And I have two GTN's in my Flysimware Dassault Falcon 50.

Someone in this thread also asked why you would want two GTN's in your cockpit?  Well, on one I can have it on the map display, on the other I can have the flight plan, or other stats.
