Anyone seeing this in the oceans?

Recommended Posts

Anyone here seeing this in the water?  Scroll down to the screen shots.  Asobo needs to address this if it's not just me.

I see it too, but it's something normal.

Perhaps a bit of artistic license could adjust it slightly, but it's not too out of line with what I've seen from the air over water in real life.  Like the poster said in your linked thread, it's hard to get that just right in all conditions.

It's a real thing....https://www.integratedecosystemassessment.noaa.gov/regions/hawaii/hi-surface-slicks.

Asobo should be commended.

I think it looks pretty good and I like it. Better than the repetitive other stuff we have had in the past.

Normal and well simulated in MSFS imo.

Guys, this effect moves in the real world.  It's not static like what we have in the sim...

I see it and it gives the ocean more depth, it's normal and realistic looking. Instead the overly flat one dimension and mono tone in X-Plane. The waters and ocean in MSFS is miles ahead of anything I've seen in a flight sim.

Disagree. It’s a very realistic effect.

I like it a lot, makes the water look real, much better than what we had before with other sims.

Again this effect is not static in the real world.  It moves which adds the depth. I know that would be hard to simulate but if you guys love it I'm out voted...  Maybe it's this on top of a very default St. Maarten with a high detailed airport that got me.  This effect just adds to what's lacking on that island at this time.

I think people will always dig for something to complain about 🙄

Anyway, I don't find it a problem and even if is a problem, is the least thing I'd care about at the moment comparing to other dozens apparent issues in the sim.
