Indeed the target is moving and it could be that developers are not necessarily willing to spend time on a fix that may either become unnecessary or be undone by another update from LM. Reading between the lines, it may well be that a fix has been found that will not necessitate action by third party developers.

I have this problem with stock scenery and clouds in P3Dv4.5HF3. It's not an Aerosoft problem.


i7-10700K; RTX 2070 Super; 16GB; P3Dv4.5HF3 & MSFS2020.

O yes, even more. I got 200+. 120 I currently have installed, all the others are outdated, redundant or not fitting at all, even if compatible.

......just my hobby  though.....;-)

But you are right.....I don´t have time flying all those AND often I don´t even know where to fly too.

But recently I do mostly fly within europe short- and midrange......Europe has so much to offer. Nice approaches...nice terrain.....challenging approaches.....all here...

But thanks Mike. Don´t whish.......enjoy what you have! Thy Sky is the limit and the sky is never ending......;-)

Yes of course....forgot those

All of the FlyTampas have these issues. TE Netherlands all the simobjects......cities especially are very obvious....Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht....all very present, even in fog.

I do not care about MSFS. This is about P3D and a release that has left many of us scratching our heads. And this is not just isolated to airport textures and poor weather depiction. Many PBR cockpits are now extremely dark and unrealistic looking when using EA.

This must've been a known issue during testing?

Regarding the dark cockpits ;  perhaps Auto Exposure on or off might help a little ?

Yes, but there were comments here about developers not wishing to do things for P3D 5.1 and EA for being a moving target.. in hence my comment.

There are always lots of issues during testing, I always report wherever I find and advice to do changes that I consider are necessary for the platform so all of you have a better experience.

Almost unnoticeable. It is a bug within P3D as Simbol mentioned somewhere before in this forum and LM is working on this.....too....and on this...and on that....and on those....and on them....and so far....and so on... 🙂

I assumed FlyTampa TFFJ, please be aware that this scenery has not been retro fitted and does not support:

  • PBR
  • Dynamic Reflections
  • Sloped Runways
  • Dynamic Lights
  • High Resolution Textures
  • Material Scripting

Good morning from Frankfurt Rob! Thanks for checking. This looks already better to me. Also no jaggies around the sim objects.....very good. At least no visible in this pic.

Does this mean, that it is not necessary anymore, that 3.Party devs update their products to avoid the simobjects - fog issue regarding the "shining through" issue? That would be a really big step for all of us as now it always seemed that we are depended on updated products to avoid this behaviour.......and their are not much devs "willing" to do that anytime soon and probably for "no income".

Hope HF1 brings some visual enhancements......not fishing for statements...I know...NDA.
