November 12, 20205 yr Author Hi ron, You are right, but had to get the old hag in the whattle hut next door to help regards😁😁
November 12, 20205 yr What's a whattle? Is that how a penguin walks? Edited November 12, 20205 yr by nbrich1

Called wattle and daub whereby a hut was constructed of a network of sticks and daubed with mud to keep the weather out. They seem to prefer that to our soft southerners use of bricks and mortar. As long as they're happy eh? Edited November 12, 20205 yr by Ron Attwood Forgot a slur The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
November 13, 20205 yr Had a quick hint of nostalgia when I spotted PNG & Kiunga. Been there in real life a few times, when working for the OK-Tedi gold mine. Was based in Tabubil in the Start Mountains and used to travel to Kiunga occasionally, to service their diesel power station. Used to fly from Cairns (YBCS) to Daru (AYDU) a small island off the PNG mainland for customs and immigration and then on to Tabubil (AYTB) in a Beechcraft 200 King Air. November 14, 20205 yr Author Hi Norm, sorry about typo re wattle, but just thought i would show you my abode after extensive renovation ( note the hut next door has not got cable internet which makes it less expensive. )
November 14, 20205 yr Wow! You must have the latest fireproof wattle. Costs a fortune in rabbit pelts I hear. Very nice. 🙂 Edit: Blimey! I just noticed you also have the latest outside loo. Saves that trek to the forest eh? Edited November 14, 20205 yr by Ron Attwood The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
