A quick question: does this video show France VFR's Ile de France?

Ile de France is categorized in JustFlight's website under photographic scenery. Unless I'm mistaken I don't think this is photo-scenery.

I have all VFR versions of FranceVFR. Super quality and not too hard on franerates.

For Paris Ile de France you need a powerfull pc if you want to see it all. And it is pr scenery 0.5 mp + custom AG + POI’s + 4.5m mesh.

Yes, I think this is Ile de France. And it is photo-based for sure. A former version of Prepar3d had bug where all photo scenery was blurry and it "worked" with Ile de France as well.

This is the FSX flavor. There's not too much difference but you have to keep an eye on it when you buy it. There are three  versions: On for Prepar3d, one for FSX, and one for AeroflyFS2.

I don´t think this video is the Ile de France product.

On the youtube page you can read in french: C'est une réalisation personnelle destinée à mon usage privé.

This means to me, it is not buyable nor downloadable. I also searched for France VFR Ile de France and found this video, which is not very pleasing to me.

This looks like a Fs2004 version

They are not well represented on youtube it seems but here´s a screenshot example from their website for the actual P3D product Ile de France. Maye it´s Paris, but I like Samscene cities more. This looks more like a Prealsoft City, with a certain monotonous appearance. I just wonder, who detailed the default Paris is.

If not, then any idea what it is then?  You mentioned Samscene and Prealsoft, but it's not Samscene or Prealsoft because just checked and they don't have Paris.  It's good to know that Samscene in your opinion has good scenery because I'll check ouot their Rome scenery also.

No, it was not. From your video go to Youtube and see the comment of the person, who put it to Youtube. It says clearly, it is self made, not published anywhere.

I meant, the France VFR product looks like a Prealsoft product. I like the look of Samscene products more. They have more soul, when Prealsoft looks dead to me. But I have both products, because you can´t have everywhere both of them.

France VFR Paris looks a bit artificial, too clean, generic, not like your video, which is unfortunately no buyable scenery. I´d buy it, if it were possible.

Yes, I speak French too. About four years ago, someone asked for it and did not get an answer. I'd love to have this scenery too. Seems no way to get that. Maybe we should write SamScene to create Paris next time.

Thanks Dan for sharing. Are you using it already? How did the installation went? What about the install directory (outside P3D possible)? 

Is the performance comparable with other huge cities like Istanbul, LAX, San Francisco, Madrid? Worse or better?

LOL.....small questionnaire here.....sorry. but having a decent Paris would indeed be great. As approaches into LFPO or LFPG are pretty nice

I just installed it and went for a little flight but Le Bourget was so ugly, I had to update this too. Actually P3D is loading again... Performance, no problem with my rig. 

I installed it with an add-on.xml, since it has two texture directories. I always do this with Addon Organizer from Lorby-Si. I don´t know, if this is perfect now. I´m also unsure, if autogenconfigurationmerger works in V5. I always read it is for FSX to P3D4. I started it but didn´t see a window pop up, what I expected. It is also added by add-on.xml.
