MSFS 2020 is now 3 month old

Recommended Posts

Tomorrow it is 3 months since MSFS 2020 was released.

After 3 months of flying around in the Virtual Skies, I get more and more impressed.

The look of the Weather, Sceneries and Airplanes are just unbelievable.

Please join me in sending  a BIG BRAVO and THANK YOU to the MS/ASOBO team for this wonderful flight simulator.

Yes, i am on your side, still a lot to do, but it gets better and better.

I would say in about one year this sim is unbeatable...😎

cheers  😉

Absolutely happy with it. Mind you, I fly GA only, and am having a blast flying the bush challenges. What a wonderfull world we live in.

And I do the occasional flight at random places in the world, using live weather, which never fails to amaze me. (I use the clear weather work around, before loading live weather)

And then there is the freeware available, which more often then not is a wonderfull adition.

Happy with my settings, mostly ultra on Full HD, with solid 40+ fps on my system.

Cheers, Rob.

This simulator is amazing.

And the amount of freeware in only 3 months is astounding.
Now we just need more quality payware!

.. and a little more stable sim from Asobo.

I am having so much fun and enjoyment with MSFS as I never had before during 30 years of simming (since FS4 times). Now I'm a pure GA/VFR pilot which may be on the base of this, but this is just as it is.

A sincere THANK YOU to the developers. We all know there is room for further development and there are bugs to crack, but overall I am sure we are on a good way.

Kind regards, Michael

By far the best "out of the box" experience for a flight sim.

Two wishes:

1. That when they update (thanks for so often, but...) it doesn't break 3rd party planes. I got addicted to the Carenado Mooney and for two weeks now it is unusable with a CTD every time I try to fly it.

2. Airport editor. PLEASE! I flew to KCRE yesterday and, to my surprise, the taxiway was marked as a runway and the runway was just a big piece of unmarked asphalt. Apparently the field was undergoing construction when the Bing photo was taken. After MANY HOURS of clumsy work I have workable but far from good airport.

But the imagery is spoiling. I can't even look at my former sim now!

I was on the verge of taking a long break from flight simming but my enthusiasm has been reawakened by it. Apart from not being able to come to terms with painting, I'm a happy bas...bunny.

I love my MSFS also. Its great looking.

Fly New Zealand yesterday , never see it so real

BUT, sometimes I love to fly my P3D also, the Instruments are working better in my homecockpit. And the airliner working better so far. Like a old corvette, primitiv but got great sound😄

And it is paid

Nice when you can choose👮‍♂️

Three months in this is really a groundbreaking project. Huge success for Asobo and MS. I can only imagine what it will be like in 1 year.  More planes. More POI. Less bugs. Better weather. Not to mention a massive ecosystem of related products. Pretty much the golden era of flight simming.

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I quit flying FSX several years ago. Yoke, throttle quadrant and multipanel tucked away in the attic. I would never ever use them, i thought.

Now I'm flying again and it's so wonderful. Low and slow in the bush. Ultimate Terrain is built in. And I can fly around my home town and identify my house, but my car is missing. VFR flying is fantastic. And there are plenty of freeware addons available just after 3 months.

I am very happy with MSFS, 3 months and the sim with the bi-weekly updates is getting better and better, sure it was a bit of a bumpy ride but I enjoy it and I enjoy every bump of it!
