Anybody have list of Airports/Sceneries with black objects?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a list of airports or sceneries which have black objects bleeding in 5.1.

I did see one youtube video commenting that it caught devs with pants down lol.  It is funny moment and sad at the same time.  I bought sceneries assuming that projects were made in P3Dv4/5 SDK but no...this is what we get.  Now with pandemic pretty much out of control buying sceneries on my end is a rare luxury.

I am hoping whatever I buy till Dec pretty much better be up to standards, I can not wait on promises of fixes b/c they all are after all promises.

Can I start seeing names of sceneries which have black textures bleeding in/out etc

I will start with

Flytampa EHAM - filled with runway structures and car park etc all bleeding in EA.

I am just gonna update after I do some more flying today.

Out of curiosity, if you increase MAX_TEXTURE_REQUEST_DISTANCE to something like 16000 or 32000 in prepar3d.cfg, do you still get the black bleeding objects?

Yes.  I have it set to 300000 (300K!!) with EA on.  I am seeing tons of black textures on Flytampa's EHAM for example
