So just a quick question but is anyone at Avsim monitoring news and updates on the Avsim front page?  It seems to rarely (weekly, sometimes less) get updated anymore and rarely has any information on news or releases.  Just wondering if it has gone to pasture or if anyone is supposed to be keeping up with it?  I check a few other sites and they tend to have multiple updates per week sometimes even multiple a day whereas Avsim really has no updated information anymore other than the forums...   Understanding this is all volunteer I am not trying to complain but there is really no need to go to the Avsim front page for updates anymore, just straight to the forums.  Even in the event there is a release chances are it will be in the forums despite it most likely never making the front page.   I do remember when the Avsim front page was full of release information, reviews etc, now it seems to be just about the forums...  Just my personal observation.  

 

I was wondering the same the other day. It only sometimes includes release news from some developers but even a bigger release from popular developers often isn't found there.

The "Front Page" editor only posts what is submitted. If no one is submitting any news releases, then... <shrug>
